Who am I?
I’m Madison Alexander, an 18-year-old artist who started college at 16 years old at the University of Central Missouri, where I honed my skills in oil painting and fine arts. As my passion for art grew, I realized the importance of pairing creativity with business knowledge. This led me to transfer to the University of Phoenix, where I’m pursuing a degree in small business management and entrepreneurship. My dream is to support myself entirely from my art – whether through creating original works, selling prints, or taking on mural commissions.
Throughout my journey as an artist, I’ve explored a wide variety of subjects and materials. You’ll notice that my body of work has a bit of everything—from bold, nature-inspired pieces to softer, spiritual explorations. As I continue to find my artistic voice, I’m always pushing myself to experiment and expand the boundaries of my craft. Nature, animals, and spiritual themes are constant sources of inspiration for me, and I love how each piece I create tells a unique story.
My career has been as diverse as my art. In addition to painting and sculpture, I’ve worked as a floral designer and a cake decorator, which has further sharpened my artistic abilities. I truly believe in the power of constantly learning and trying new things, and I plan to continue exploring various creative outlets while building my career as an artist and muralist.
